Secret Garden at Woodbridge Ponds Wedding Photos - Abbotsford, BC

Now this romantic fall wedding is one of those weddings I won’t soon forget! Zac and Kayla planned a beautiful wedding in September because they wanted to have all the beautiful fall colours be a part of their wedding day. Navy suits, maroon and blush pink dresses were all a part of this plan and on top of it all, they chose to have their wedding at the Secret Garden at Woodbridge Ponds in Abbotsford BC. Now if you have not yet been to this venue yet, let me tell you, the sheer beauty of the natural settings around this place is stunning! There are open fields, tree orchards, and mountains as far as the eye can see…

When I first arrived to meet Kayla at her getting ready location, I was met with her incredible crew of ladies who were all there excitedly supporting the bride on her big day. It had started raining in the morning, but we were still hoping for the best by the afternoon. The ladies and I found some tree cover in the back yard and they decided to brave a little bit of the rain with me for some bridesmaid photos! 

Luckily for us, the torrential rain of the day kept away from us during the bridal party portraits. When the rain did eventually come, we were well equipped for it with our clear umbrellas…and Woodbridge Ponds has a few greenhouses that we were able to borrow too. But the thing I love about Zac and Kayla is that they were down to do whatever! It was their wedding day and they weren’t going to let a couple of raindrops ruin their day. We even had some fun with the two of them in the rain!
